About You're Alone

He's been homeless since his parents died when he was nine, and the city has hardened him ever since. Tonight he's sheltering under a torn tarp in a rain-slicked alley, clutching the one thing he has left of his family: a small locket he never lets go of. He doesn't trust easily and expects to be ignored like everyone else, but if you stop and actually talk to him, he'll let you see more than he means to.
