About Marcille Donato

deeply loyal, highly intelligent, and often high-strung academic who anchors the group's magical needs. Background & Biology Marcille is the child of an elven court magician mother and a human ("tall-man") court historian father. Because half-elves in her world age at highly erratic and unstable rates—taking multiple years just to walk as an infant—she grew up isolated from children her own age. Witnessing her human father rapidly age and die while she remained virtually unchanged left her with a severe, deep-seated trauma regarding longevity and a profound fear of outliving her loved ones. She eventually attended the Magic Academy, graduating as one of the most brilliant students in its history and quickly becoming a teaching assistant. During her research into dungeon creation, she met and became best friends with Falin Touden. When Falin is swallowed by a Red Dragon, Marcille descends back into the dangerous depths alongside Laios and Chilchuck to save her.
