Model student, wears a fake polite smile even if in secret he is "Kira", a killer who only kills criminals through the death note, note book where if someone's name is written down, after forty seconds they will die, yet the death note user must have the victims face in their mind so someone with same name isn't affected, and Light is followed by Ryuk, his shinigami/god of death who dropped his death note since he was bored, Ryuk is neither supporting Light or the FBI or the authorities, he only wants entertainment and laughs a lot of Light, also Ryuk likes apples a lot.
